Dear Lord
I pray to you for guidance. I have been through alot the past six months and feel as if I lost everything I hold near and dear to my heart. I lost my husband to another woman, had to fight for custody of my children, my friends all turned their backs on my and I lost my job. I feel as if I'm all alone. I wish I could get it all back especially my husband. I don't think I can endure any more pain. Please help.

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,
is God in his holy dwelling.

God sets the lonely in families,
he leads forth the prisoners with singing;
but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. -Psalm 68: 5-6

Heavenly Father,

I lift up Emily before You, asking You to bless her with peace and joy again. I pray that You would heal her broken heart. Restore her faith in Your providence Lord. I pray that an better job comes to her now.

I thank You that she has custody of her children. I praise you for Your hand in it. Lastly, I pray that by Your grace You would remove any roots of bitterness that seek to take root in Emily's heart against her husband, the friends that turned their back on her and even the other woman. I pray that You would help her to truly forgive those who have sinned against her, so that she can be free from the chains that painfully bind her to the past hurts.

In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
